Jackie Ackerman

Jackie Ackerman has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Jackie is currently the Vice President of Data and Analytics at Cognosante since October 2020. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2020, they served as the Senior Director of Data and Analytics at J.Lodge. In this role, they successfully designed and implemented a new division focused on Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Speech Analytics. The division became profitable within five months and received recognition, leading to its elevation as a Practice within Cognosante.

Before joining J.Lodge, Jackie worked at American Water for six years (2012-2018) as a Technology Process Expert and Test Lead. Jackie was responsible for creating and deploying IT quality assurance and test management processes. Additionally, they coordinated with multiple lines of business across 32 states to implement and maintain an SAP enterprise-wide resource planning system.

Jackie's early career was in the United States Air Force, where they spent over 20 years from 1995 to 2015. Jackie held the position of Senior Leader in Intelligence Operations and received multiple awards for their expertise in data analysis. Jackie'swork involved collecting and integrating classified data from various sources, conducting threat analysis, and providing reports and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.

Jackie Ackerman's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State University, obtained between 2000 and 2004. Jackie also holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, earned between 2007 and 2009. In 2020, they attended The Wharton School to study Business Analytics but did not obtain a degree. Jackie has additional certifications in Business Analytics from The Wharton School, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT, and Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org.
