Jamie Hinely

Jamie Hinely has worked in the field of training and development for over 15 years. In 2022, they began working as the Principal of J.B. Hinely & Company, where they help busy executives with training and development strategies for their employees and customers. Additionally, they work as a CLO Coach for Cognota. Prior to this, they were the Director of Global Learning Solutions at Valvoline from 2006 to 2022. In this role, they led the strategic development and deployment of learning and development, reaching over 150,000 extended enterprise learners and 18,000 company and franchise team members. Jamie also set the direction of learning including content, systems, and facilitation for all channels, business units and US and international regions. Additionally, they oversaw the expansion of the training function to their international team and the rapid growth of their retail training and leadership development functions. Before this, they were the Manager of Talent Management at Valvoline, where they developed and implemented talent acquisition, development, succession planning and talent optimization strategies for 10,000 employees. Jamie also created the company's first professional learning team and grew it to be one of the most decorated programs in the retail industry.

Jamie Hinely has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Salisbury University - Perdue School of Business and a Master of Divinity degree from Westminister Theological Seminary. Additionally, Jamie has obtained a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Qualification from CPP, Inc.
