Martha Soehren, PhD

Martha Soehren, PhD, has a long and varied work experience. Martha began their career in 1987 as an Executive Officer and Management Analyst in the US Army. In 1991, they became an Adjunct Professor at Lawrence Technological University/William Tyndale College. From 1993 to 2000, they were the Director of Human Resources and L&D at The Children's Center of Wayne County. In 2000, they became the Vice President of Learning and Development for the Midwest Division of Comcast. From 2001 to 2020, they served as the Chief Talent Development Officer of Comcast, assuming additional responsibility for Talent Management in 2012. Since 2021, they have been an Executive Development Advisor and Coach at Soehren and Associates, LLC. Martha also works as a CLO Coach at Cognota and a Senior Executive Coach at AIIR Consulting.

Martha Soehren, PhD, completed their high school education at Union Pines High School in 1972. Martha then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy. Martha also earned a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Occupational Technology from Jacksonville State University. Martha Soehren, PhD, then went on to receive a Diploma in Management/Industrial Engineering from the US Army Management Engineering College. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a Cognate in Organizational Behavior from Wayne State University.
