Christian McLaughlin has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, with a focus on film production and development. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President and Head of Production and Development at Cohen Media Group, where they are responsible for leading the production division across various platforms, including film, television, and theater. In this role, McLaughlin recruits creative talent, develops strategic visions, and manages worldwide development, production, financing, sales, and distribution.

Prior to their current position, McLaughlin founded McLaughlin Films in 2007, where they produced the critically acclaimed film, "A Better Life," directed by Chris Weitz. The film received an Academy Award nomination and was recognized by the National Board of Review as one of the top ten films of its year.

Throughout their career, McLaughlin has held various executive positions at renowned companies such as Beacon Pictures, Miramax Films, Marc Platt Productions, The Walt Disney Company, Paramount Pictures, and HarperCollins Publishers. In the fall semester of 1989, they also had the opportunity to study at the University of Aberdeen, focusing on English and History.
