Reports To: Vice President, Operations Analyst

FLSA Code: Non-Exempt

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $85,000

Job Summary:

Provide wide-ranging support to the firm’s office of the COO. The Associate will work cross-functionally with our Investment, Finance, Compliance, Relationship Management, Information Technology, and Investment Administration teams. Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to find areas for improvement and efficiency; suggest automated system solutions
  • Support operations team with managing firm’s research and market data relationships
  • Collect and produce Operational KPI reporting
  • Assist in managing budgets and conducting profitability analyses
  • Reconcile research commissions on an ongoing basis with the firm’s brokers
  • Work with brokers and operations to identify, investigate and resolve commission issues
  • Report on firm’s trading activity. This includes producing both internal reports and client reports
  • Develop and manage special projects/ implementations with key stakeholders
  • Support the Investments business management team to deliver on inter-departmental projects, including:
    • Human resources management: organize and develop skills training and social events
    • Client initiatives: coordinate access to new geographic markets and respond to client inquiries
    • Information Technology: support the aggregation, prioritization and execution of projects; generate regular reporting and updates
    • Investment Administration: partner to deliver solutions that enable access to new investment instruments and implement procedures to track and communicate progress

Minimum Requirements:

  • 0 - 3 years of related experience
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • B.S. in Business Administration, Finance or related fields
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Fundamental understanding of financial accounting principles
  • Ability to understand technological workflow processes across several platforms
  • Enthusiasm and aptitude to become proficient with CNS’ commission management system
  • Motivated and willing to contribute with team responsibilities
  • Ability to organize, adapt and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
