Daniel Longmuir

Daniel Longmuir has a strong background in technology and management, with over 20 years of experience in various roles. Daniel started their career at Barclays Capital in 1997 as an IT Director and worked there for 7 years. After that, they joined SAC Capital Advisors LLC as a Managing Director and was responsible for technology from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Soros Fund Management for 7 years. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Cohen & Steers since 2015.

Daniel Longmuir has a strong education history in the field of computer science and project management. Daniel obtained a BSc in Computer Science & Physics from Abertay University in 1985, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Mapping & Remote Sensing from the University of Dundee in 1986. Daniel pursued an MBA in Project Management from the University of Dundee from 1992 to 1993. Daniel then completed their academic journey with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Dundee, earning the degree in 2002.
