Karen Kaszak

Karen Kaszak has extensive experience in tax compliance and consulting services. Karen worked as a Staff Accountant at Riggleman, Smyth & Associates, P.A. from December 1994 to May 1998, where they provided accounting and tax services for closely-held businesses and individuals, as well as conducted audits for non-profit, for-profit, and governmental organizations. Karen then joined Arthur Bell CPAs in June 1998 and served as a Tax Director until June 2017. During their time there, they provided tax compliance and consulting services to various clients, including investment partnerships, ultra-high net worth individuals, real estate investment entities, investment advisors, and related management entities. In 2009, they stepped down to the role of Tax Director to better balance their work and home responsibilities after starting a family. Following their tenure at Arthur Bell CPAs, Karen joined Valley Advisors, LLC in July 2017 as a CPA. In this role, they provided tax compliance and consulting services to high net worth individuals, real estate clusters, and family office groups, while also conducting research on tax laws. Since May 2020, Karen has been working as the Director of CFO Solutions at Cohen & Company.

Karen Kaszak obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Frostburg State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995.
