Sebastian Ruder

Sebastian Ruder is a specialist in natural language processing with experience as the Multilinguality Lead at Cohere and as a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind and AYLIEN. Ruder's background also includes internships in linguistic engineering at Microsoft and as an Extreme Blue Intern at IBM. Ruder holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Natural Language Processing from the University of Galway, obtained from 2015 to 2019, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Language from Trinity College Dublin, completed from 2014 to 2015.
