Chee Chun Wong

Chee Chun Wong has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chee Chun is currently the Director of Actuarial and Corporate Solutions at Coherent since August 2020. Before that, they worked at AIA Hong Kong and Macau, where they held the position of Head of Case Management and Underwriting, Corporate Solutions from July 2017 to August 2019, and Senior Actuarial Manager from December 2014 to July 2017. Chee Chun also has extensive experience at AIA, where they worked from June 2003 to November 2014 as a Senior Manager in Group Corporate Solutions. During their time at AIA, they held various roles in group and credit life insurance, including valuation, management reporting, underwriting, product development & pricing, experience studies, system implementation, and audit. Chee Chun also had special assignments at AIA Thailand and AIA Singapore. Chee Chun Wong's early work experience includes a role as a Product and Marketing Trainee at YesAsia.com from June 2002 to June 2003.

Chee Chun Wong holds a Master of Science degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Chee Chun also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with Statistics from the University of Bristol. Prior to that, their educational background includes attending Lancing College. In addition to their academic qualifications, Chee Chun Wong has obtained certifications as a Coherent Spark Certified Admin User and a Coherent Spark Certified Business User from Coherent, in the years 2024 and 2023 respectively.
