Sung Hoon Im

Sung Hoon Im has over a decade of experience in the optical test and measurement industry. From 2013 to present, they have been the Director of Technical Sales at Quantifi Photonics, where they facilitate product demonstrations and customer-specific measurement consultations. Prior to that, they were the Director of Sales and Marketing at Southern Photonics from 2008 to 2013. During their time there, they led and managed a diverse network of global sales channels to increase the company's market share and make Southern Photonics a brand name that can be found in many optical laboratories around the world. Sung Hoon'skey roles included product technical support, optical pulse measurement consultations, product promotions and marketing, market research and analysis, and new product development.

Sung Hoon Im obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Optoelectronics (Hon) from The University of Auckland between 2000 and 2004. Sung Hoon then went on to pursue a PhD in Physics at The University of Auckland, which they completed in 2008.
