Edward Miesak

Edward Miesak has a diverse work experience in the field of laser technology and engineering. Edward is currently working as a Senior Laser Scientist at L3 ALST since January 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Engineering at Coherent Inc. starting from April 2016. In this role, they efficiently managed both technical and administrative responsibilities, and effectively developed goals for the engineering department. Before joining Coherent Inc., Edward held the position of Director of Engineering at Lee Laser, Inc. from December 2015.

Edward Miesak obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Nonlinear Optics from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 1989 to 1999.
