Rebecca Sunshine

Rebecca Sunshine is the EVP of HR at Coherus BioSciences. Rebecca has over fifteen years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruiting, compensation planning and analysis, and organizational development. Rebecca has worked with companies of all sizes, from start-ups to large pharmaceutical companies.

Rebecca began their career in human resources at Vivus Inc, where they were responsible for recruiting for key positions in the commercial organization for the launch of the obesity drug Qsymia. Rebecca then spent a year at Fluxion Biosciences, a start-up company focused on launching a diagnostic for non-heriditary breast cancer, before moving to PaxVax, Inc., where they spent six months as an HR Consultant.

In 2011, Rebecca left PaxVax to start their own HR consulting business. Rebecca has since worked with a number of companies, including Theranos, Corium International, and KaloBios. Rebecca joined Coherus BioSciences in 2016 as the EVP of HR.

Rebecca Sunshine has a Doctorate in Organization & Leadership from the University of San Francisco, an MPA in Health Services from the University of San Francisco, and a BA in Liberal Studies from UC Santa Barbara.

Rebecca Sunshine reports to Dennis M. Lanfear, Chairman, President & CEO. They work with Chris Slavinsky - Chief Business & Legal Officer, Rosh Dias - Chief Medical Officer, and Chris Thompson - EVP, Sales.
