Avinash Parwaney

Avinash Parwaney serves as the Global Head of Incident and Escalation Management at Palo Alto Networks since October 2023, while concurrently holding the position of VP of Digital Experience at Cohesity since June 2022. At Cohesity, Avinash leads a comprehensive Global Digital Experience initiative, focusing on areas such as Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Customer Success, and Critical Accounts, implementing key projects like Conversational AI for customer self-service and an enhanced Support Toolbox. Prior experiences include roles as VP of SRE and Cloud Operations at ThoughtSpot, where Avinash expanded teams and co-led a significant cloud transformation, and as Vice President of Engineering at Lumina Networks, contributing to an open-source SDN platform. Avinash's career also includes a senior leadership role at Cisco, managing engineering, customer certifications, and escalations for a high-revenue product portfolio. Avinash holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai, along with additional courses in various business disciplines from Stanford Continuing Studies.
