Cesar Funes

Cesar Funes is a seasoned professional in data management and sales engineering with extensive experience in leading technical and sales initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Sales Engineer at Cohesity since October 2018, Cesar previously held key roles at Commvault, including Principal SE for Enterprise Iberia and EMEA SME, where contributions were made to help enterprises manage data effectively across Spain and Portugal. Cesar also has a strong background in channel management, technical partner enablement, and presales leadership, having driven successful strategies across the EMEA South Region. Previous positions include Administration and Projects Lead at Ydilo AVS and Technical Director at Prosol, along with a foundational role at Ericsson Spain as an IT Consultant. Cesar holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and an MBA in Economics from IDE-CESEM.
