Vijay Mhaskar

Vijay Mhaskar is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and executive management across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Pune Site lead at Cohesity since December 2024, Vijay is instrumental in leading the NetBackup engineering team, uniting Cohesity and Veritas teams to enhance data protection and AI-powered cyber resilience. Prior to this role, Vijay held the position of SVP of Engineering at Veritas Technologies LLC, focusing on innovative data protection solutions. Vijay's previous experience includes key leadership roles at Quick Heal, Avaya, Symantec Software India, Saba Software, and Sun Microsystems, each contributing to Vijay's expertise in software development and management. Vijay possesses a Master of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from the University of Mumbai.
