Karra Marino

Karra Marino has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in the energy industry. Karra is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Coho Climate Advisors, where they spearhead business development opportunities and manages a team of four. Karra works with the CEO and CFO to establish revenue goals and create long-term business development strategies.

Prior to their current role, Karra served as the Vice President and General Manager of terrapass at Just Energy. Karra developed and delivered growth strategies for renewable energy solutions, managed a $6M P&L, and led cross-functional teams to launch energy partner programs.

Before that, Karra held the position of Vice President of Affinity & Alternative Channel Sales at Just Energy. Karra managed $140M in annual revenue and oversaw 28 people across various departments. Karra also directed brand strategy and introduced new products for Tara Energy and Amigo Energy.

Karra also worked at Direct Energy as the Director of Marketing, where they managed an $80M marketing budget and drove $1B in revenue. At NRG Energy, they served as a Senior Business Development Manager and a Customer Segment Marketing Manager, where they cultivated business relationships, oversaw store expansion projects, and launched partner programs.

Earlier in their career, Karra worked at Shell Oil Company as a Brand Manager, leading cross-functional teams in product development and brand awareness campaigns. Karra also gained experience at PepsiCo, starting as a Sales Associate and eventually becoming a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for overseeing $120M in sales and coaching district sales leaders.

Karra Marino's work experience demonstrates their expertise in business development, sales management, marketing, brand strategy, and team leadership within the energy industry.

Karra Marino has an MBA in General Business from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. Karra also holds a BBA in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in August 2012.
