Dayna Herling, M.S., M.B.A. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Dayna is currently working as the Sr. Growth Director at Coin Metrics. Prior to this, they co-founded D&D Mining in 2021.

Dayna has also worked at IBM, where they held multiple roles. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Blockchain, Cloud, and Analytics Solution Leader. Dayna's earlier experience includes working as a Renewable Energy, DER and Grid Optimization Consultant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2017 to 2018. Dayna consulted on various topics within the energy and utilities industry, conducted research on the efficacy of the grid to handle renewable energy generation, and created a deliverable using image recognition and AI.

From 2016 to 2017, Dayna worked as a Power Electronics Intern for the Naval Nuclear Labs at Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation (BMPC). Dayna also gained experience as an Electrical Technician at PN Fire & Burglar Alarm Co in 2015, where they installed and programmed fire and burglar alarm systems.

Additionally, Dayna participated in the GE Dare to Lead program and worked as a Research Assistant at Missouri S&T in 2014, where they co-designed and programmed an EV battery management system.
