Sebastian Gayle

Sebastian Gayle has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Support Engineer at Coin Metrics since 2022. Prior to that, in 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer, collaborating with a team to develop solutions for locating Covid-19 funding distributed to health institutions. Technologies utilized included React, Express, MongoDB, Node, Sass, and Netlify.

In 2021, Sebastian also completed a Software Engineer Fellowship at General Assembly, where they underwent over 500 hours of professionally led instruction in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and learned various software engineering fundamentals. In this role, they created databases using PostgreSQL and MongoDb and worked with backend tools such as Node.js, Express.js, and Sequelize to build projects.

Before pursuing their career in software engineering, Sebastian worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer from 2018 to 2021. Sebastian started their professional journey at Lowe's Companies, Inc. in 2017, where they served as a Customer Service Specialist until 2021.

Sebastian Gayle obtained a Certification of Completion in Computer Software Engineering from General Assembly in 2021.
