Jasmine Burgess has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jasmine started their career at Citi in 1999, where they worked as a Fixed Income Trading Floor Graduate and was responsible for managing derivative counterparty risk. Jasmine then moved to JPMorgan Chase as an Analyst in DCM before joining Deutsche Bank as a Structured Credit Quantitative Analyst. At Deutsche Bank, they specialized in modelling CDO structures and hybrid securities.
In 2006, Jasmine joined Macquarie Bank as an Associate Director and Head of FICC Risk: Americas. Jasmine was instrumental in building a full FICC trading floor and designing risk measurements and processes for various markets and products.
After leaving Macquarie Bank, Jasmine worked at Prologue Capital as the Chief Risk Officer, overseeing risk management and automating risk measurement processes. Jasmine then joined Brevan Howard as the Head of Risk USA, managing all risks and serving as the point of contact for operational risks and product specialists.
In 2020, Jasmine became the Head of US at Coremont LLP before joining One River Asset Management as the COO/CRO of One River Digital. Their role at One River Digital continued until 2023 when it was acquired by Coinbase. Jasmine then transitioned to Coinbase Asset Management as the COO/CRO, where they focused on product design and tokenization.
Throughout their career, Jasmine has demonstrated a strong understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, and product design in the financial industry.
Jasmine Burgess has a diverse education history. In 2018, they completed Executive Series Courses in Artificial Intelligence at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they attended the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 1997 to 2001. At UNSW, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honors in Finance.
