Moamen Elsayed

Moamen Elsayed has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Moamen is currently the Director of Business Development for CoinDesk Indices since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Genesis from March to September 2022 as the Head of Insurance, Endowments, & Pension Fund Sales. From November 2017 to March 2022, Moamen was a Director of Institutional Equity Derivatives Sales and the Head of Insurance & Pensions at Natixis. Before that, they held various roles at Barclays from 2008 to 2017, including Insurance Coverage - Institutional Sales Trading, US Pensions, Endowments, & Foundations - Institutional Sales, Canadian Pensions - Institutional Sales, Asset Manager & Fund of Funds Coverage - Institutional Sales, and Equity Derivatives. Moamen also had brief stints at Lehman Brothers in 2008 as a Fund Derivatives employee and in 2007 as a Summer Analyst. In 2006, Moamen worked as a Summer Analyst at Standard & Poor's.

Moamen Elsayed completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Baruch College from 2004 to 2008. Moamen also obtained certifications in Series 63 and Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
