Ben Sharpe

Ben Sharpe started their work experience as a Full-Time Dad from November 2001 to September 2007. Ben then worked as a Software Architect at Ubermind, Inc. from September 2008 to August 2010, where they designed and built back-end API's for iPhone applications. After that, they founded Friends & Foes Studios in September 2007 and worked there until December 2011. From December 2010 to February 2012, they worked as a Senior Game Developer at Motiga, Inc. Following that, they founded MobileCommand, where they worked as a Founder from an unknown start date to 2014. In this role, they conducted freelance Ruby and Rails development and traveled around the US in a converted bus RV. From June 2014 to November 2016, they served as CTO at Baremetrics, responsible for keeping the platform running smoothly and scaling. Ben then worked as a Senior Systems Architect at LifeWallet, LLC from March 2017 to May 2019, where they refactored and improved the Rails codebase. From March 2019 to July 2021, they worked as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at StructionSite. From January 2018 to August 2021, they held the position of Director of Backend Services at iNewton, LLC. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at CoinList since August 2021.

Ben Sharpe attended Vanderbilt University from 1983 to 1985, where they studied English and Computer Science. No degree was specified.
