Olabowale Ojo, M.A, SPHRI has a diverse work experience in human resources.

From 2022 to present, Olabowale is currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at Mara.

From 2015 to 2022, Olabowale worked at Channels Television, starting as a Human Resources Specialist and later being promoted to Human Resource Executive. In these roles, they were responsible for various HR functions including recruitment, training, disciplinary actions, and HR record management. They also played a key role in creating HR policies and procedures, as well as developing orientation and incentive programs for employees.

From 2013 to 2015, Olabowale worked as an HR Business Analyst at Skye Bank Plc, where they handled recruitment for new bank branches and assisted in creating orientation and training programs.

From 2011 to 2012, Olabowale worked as an HR Assistant at Summerfield Consulting UK, where they managed personnel files, recruitment files, and hourly time records.

From 2008 to 2011, Olabowale served as a Human Resource Officer at Skye Bank Plc, where their responsibilities included managing recruitment, posting staff to different job functions, and result tracking for appraisals.

Overall, Olabowale has a strong background in HR operations, including recruitment, training, and policy development.

Olabowale Ojo obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Zoology from Bowen University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Human Resource Management from London Metropolitan University, completing their studies from 2011 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Olabowale Ojo has obtained several qualifications. They obtained verified international academic qualifications from World Education Services in March 2022. In November 2020, they completed the Advanced Human Resource Management Essentials program from Certification Edge and also attended the Employment Law Masters Class and HR Metrics and Analytics Masters Class offered by HRCI. Olabowale Ojo further completed the Agile HR Masterclass from Certification Edge in October 2020. They also attended a workshop on Marketing and Sales (TV) conducted by the Broadcasting Board of Governors in July 2015.

To enhance their expertise in Human Resources, Olabowale Ojo obtained the HRPA Practitioner certification from the HRPA Toronto Chapter in February 2023. Additionally, they achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources - International™ (SPHRi™) certification from HRCI in August 2021.
