Graeme Dickson

Graeme Dickson has extensive work experience in the legal and financial sector. Graeme is currently the Group General Counsel at CoinShares, a position they have held since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Aviva as a Senior Counsel, specializing in Corporate, Capital, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Graeme was with Aviva from November 2016 to September 2019.

Before their time at Aviva, Graeme worked at White & Case as an Associate from August 2010 to October 2016. Additionally, they have experience in secondee roles, providing legal support to different organizations. Graeme was seconded to the Debt Capital Markets team at Standard Bank Group in 2016, covering for the General Counsel during their maternity leave. Graeme also worked as a secondee for Bank of America Merrill Lynch's EMEA debt capital markets legal team in 2013.

Graeme started their career at Linklaters, where they trained and qualified as a Solicitor. Graeme assisted on a range of equity and debt capital markets transactions and spent eighteen months in the Moscow office, working on deals for Oil & Gas sector issuers. Earlier in their career, Graeme worked outside the legal field. Graeme served as an Assistant Brand Manager at H.J. Heinz Company from July 2000 to August 2001. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Analyst at Miller Brewing Company's International Division, where they analyzed sales volumes, market trends, and competitive activity in Asian markets.

Throughout their career, Graeme has gained comprehensive legal and commercial experience across various industries, demonstrating a strong foundation in corporate law and capital markets.

Graeme Dickson's education history begins in 1994, as they attended the University of St Andrews. Graeme completed their studies in 1998, earning a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in International Relations.

In 2001, Graeme furthered their education by pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Law at The University of Law. This program lasted until 2002. Following this, in 2002, they enrolled at BPP Law School to complete a Legal Practice Course, which concluded in the following year.
