Hugo Schnoering's work experience begins in 2019 as a Quantitative Research intern at BNP Paribas Asset Management, where they worked on utilizing Google Trends data for market timing and constructed quantitative models. Hugo then pursued an internship at HEC Lausanne in 2020, focusing on deep learning research and resolving differential equations using neural networks. Most recently, in 2021, they joined CoinShares as a Quantitative Researcher, specializing in automatic strategy mining, natural language processing, and unsupervised representation learning for time series.
Hugo Schnoering began their education in 2011 at Notre-Dame Saint-Sigisbert, where they completed their Baccalauréat Abitur from 2011 to 2015. Afterward, they attended Lycée Henri Poincaré in 2016 and 2017, where they pursued a Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles in Mathematics and Computer Science.
In 2017, Hugo enrolled at CentraleSupélec, where they studied Computational and Applied Mathematics, eventually earning their degree as Ingénieur Centrale Paris in 2021. As they were completing their undergraduate studies, they also attended École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay from 2020 to 2021, where they pursued a Master 2 in Mathematics Vision Apprentissage (MVA), focusing on Applied Mathematics.
Currently, Hugo is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics and Computer Science at École Polytechnique, starting in 2023.
