Sasikumar Balakrishnan

Sasikumar Balakrishnan has a diverse work experience. Sasikumar began their career in 2016 as a Military Police K-9 Unit with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), where they trained newly acquired dogs for active duty, trained new dog handlers, and developed and implemented customised training programs based on dogs’ training needs and behavioural patterns. In 2018, they moved to Grab as an Account Manager. In 2019, they took on the role of Principal Owner at Nawidths, where they developed specific finance goals and strategies to achieve them, provided technical management and leadership for assigned projects and initiatives, and leveraged strong relationships and networks to increase company presence and opportunities. In 2021, they began working at QuantFi as a Junior Trader, Crypto Derivatives, and at Coinstore.com as Global BD & Partnerships. In 2022, they moved to Linden Shore LLC as a Quantitative Analyst.

Sasikumar Balakrishnan completed their High School Diploma in Engineering Informatics from Nanyang Polytechnic between 2013 and 2016. Sasikumar then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Economics and Finance from RMIT University between 2019 and 2021. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications, including Fintech: Foundations & Applications of Financial Technology from Wharton Online in May 2021, Trading Strategies in Emerging Markets from Indian School of Business in May 2021, Financial Markets from Yale University in March 2021, and Investment and Portfolio Management from Rice University - Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies.
