Mackie S. possesses extensive experience in arts education and program management, currently serving as Program Manager for Exploring the Arts, Inc. (ETA) since January 2023, as well as Director and Teaching Artist at Envision Theater and Queens Theatre. Previous roles include Teaching Artist at CO/LAB Theater Group and Opening Act, and Education Programs Manager at Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre/Notes in Motion, where Mackie successfully expanded partnership portfolios and managed teams. Mackie’s foundation in arts education was established through roles at Children's Museum of the Arts and Broadway Bound Kids, supported by a Master of Arts in Educational Theater from NYU Steinhardt and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Webster University.
CO/LAB Theater Group
CO/LAB Theater Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Creative Opportunities without Limits And Boundaries. CO/LAB offers individuals with developmental disabilities a creative and social outlet through theater arts. Through classes and workshops, we facilitate a safe and judgment-free environment, encouraging participants to collaborate together as an ensemble as well as discover their individual voices. We host programming in New York City as well as partner with many organizations in the tri-state area. CO/LAB has worked with over 300 individuals ages 5-76 through our on-site classes, off-site workshops and satellite programs.
