Taylor Janney-Rovin

Taylor Janney-Rovin is an experienced educator and arts professional with a strong background in special education, theater, and program management. As a Mentor Teacher at The National Summer School Initiative, Taylor has facilitated professional development for over 40,000 students across New York City. In the role of Founding Teacher and Manager of Special Education at Valence College Prep, Taylor differentiated curriculum for grades 5-7 while managing the needs of over 70 students with IEPs. Taylor also contributes to the performing arts as a Teaching Artist with CO/LAB Theater Group and previously as a Dramaturg for New York City Children's Theater. With leadership experience at Orangetheory Fitness and successful property management of a luxury AirBnB, Taylor demonstrates a commitment to excellence in customer service and community engagement. Education credentials include a Master of Arts in Education from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from Syracuse University.
