Allyson Hawkins

Allyson Hawkins is an experienced professional in gender studies and international relations, currently serving as Associate Director for Off-Campus Study at Colby College, having previously held the position of Assistant Director in the same department. With a background that includes working as Assistant Director at the Boston Consortium for Arab Region Studies, Allyson has contributed significantly to research on gendered political economies and refugee financial inclusion. Prior roles include Project Manager at The Consortium on Gender, Security, and Human Rights, Graduate Researcher at The Feinstein International Center, and Research Assistant at The World Peace Foundation. Allyson holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a BA in Government from Smith College, complemented by language studies at the Habib Bourgiba Institute and the University of Jordan.
