Julie K. Wood

As vice president and chief human resources officer, Julie Wood is responsible for helping to elevate Colby's workplace culture and championing the College's expanding and diverse workforce. She oversees the development and execution of the College's people strategy including recruitment and hiring, engagement and retention, benefits, compensation, training and development as well as employee relations and employment risk management. Prior to joining Colby in 2022, she served as chief people officer for Crowe LLP, a global leader in accounting, consulting and technology, for nearly 17 years. She has over 35 years of experience across a variety of industries. She earned her undergraduate degree in business psychology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
