Juliana Roa

Juliana Roa is a budding researcher currently working as a Joven Investigador at Colciencias, where the focus is on the analysis of greenhouse gases and microbiological, enzymatic, and metagenomic activities in soil samples. Previously, Juliana undertook an internship at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in the Applied Biotechnology Laboratory, contributing to research activities, including monoconidial cultures for laboratory strain collections and hydrophobicity assessments through liquid-liquid extraction. Juliana holds a degree in Microbiology from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and has a technical background in artistic makeup from LCI Bogotá.
