Josh Homer

Josh Homer is a Research Investigator at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, focusing on re-engineering clinically used antibiotic molecules to combat antimicrobial resistance while supervising research streams on anticancer agents and pain therapies. Previously, Josh served as a Postdoctoral Fellow under Prof. John Moses, honing methodologies for sulfur fluoride exchange in drug discovery. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at The University of Edinburgh, working on asymmetric catalysis, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant role at The University of Auckland, supervising undergraduate chemistry courses. Josh holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and two degrees in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Auckland.
