Carla Ruiz

Carla Ruiz is the Director of Design at Cold Start. Carla has over six years of experience in design and strategic innovation, with a focus on mobile and digital innovation. Carla has a strong background in market research, customer engagement, and growth strategy. Carla co-founded lenshare, a mobile app that was named an Apple "Best New App" with global coverage. Carla has also worked as the Head of Design at Kamet Ventures, and as a Lead Business Designer at Designit. Carla has a passion for helping startups grow and scale through design and innovation.

Carla Ruiz has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from DePaul University with a concentration in business strategy. Carla also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in psychology and behavioral change from Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Carla has also completed an exchange program in organisational psychology at Boston College.

They are on a team with Kunal Mehta - Partner, Ventures, Olex Kal - Partner, and Jonathan Meyrowitz - Director, Talent & People. Their manager is Yury Yakubchyk, Chairman & Founder.
