Mark Parker has had a diverse range of work experience over the years. Mark started their career as a Stock Broker Associate at Paine Webber in 1993 and then went on to own CD Warehouse from 1995 to 2001. In 2001, they became the Owner of Distinctive Suthern Homes Inc. Mark Parker later joined Fonville Morisey Realty in 1999, where they held various roles such as Vice President of Sales & Managing Broker and Broker, Sales Associate, Realtor. In 2004, they created their own team within Fonville Morisey called Mark Parker and Associates, and they consistently ranked as one of the top producing teams. Mark also served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS from 2011 to 2016. Currently, Mark Parker is the Managing Broker & VP of Sales at Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, starting in 2020.

Mark Parker attended the International School of Curitiba in Brasil from 1981 to 1987, where they earned their high school diploma with a focus on general studies. From 1982 to 1985, Parker also attended Shiplake College in England, studying general studies. Mark then went on to attend Elon University's Martha and Spencer Love School of Business from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on marketing and economics.
