William (Bill) started their career as an Assistant Director of Placement at Michigan State University, where they focused on career placement for non-technical business and industry graduates. After that, they worked at IBM as a Sales representative, specializing in office products sales for businesses, schools, and banks. Currently, they are the President & Partner of Coldwell Banker Hubbell BriarWood Real Estate Company, where they oversee sales and marketing and manages a team of 180 sales agents across six offices. Under their leadership, the company has become Mid Michigan's leading real estate firm, with a 35% market share in the tri-county area for home sales.
Bill MacLeod pursued their undergraduate education from 1964 to 1968 at Central Michigan University. During this time, they successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with two majors: Business and Speech. Additionally, they pursued a minor in Psychology.

Coldwell Banker® was founded in 1906 when Colbert Coldwell, a young real estate sales associate, observed families trying to piece their lives together following the disastrous San Francisco earthquake. In the earthquake’s aftermath, Coldwell disapproved of sales associates who acquired properties from vulnerable sellers and greedily resold each property at a huge profit.
