From July 2009 to October 2012, Wasfi was responsible for GIS and Geo-Information Management at Jordan Oil Shale Company, where they led the strategic direction for the GIS project and ensured compliance with global standards.

Prior to their tenure at Shell, Wasfi worked as a Geologist at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Jordan from May 2003 to July 2009.

Wasfi began their career in 1998 as the Editor-in-Chief Officer at Al Arab Al Yawm Newspaper, where they oversaw operational programs and directed research and communication.

Wasfi Alomari earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from Midland University, with a timeframe of 2021 to 2023. Prior to pursuing an MBA, Alomari attended Yarmouk University from 1991 to 1996. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree and a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science, General.
