Firmin Oteyami

Firmin Oteyami is an expert in value chain training and agricultural development, currently serving as an Expert-Trainer Valuelinks at the Institut de la Francophonie pour le développement durable since June 2022. Oteyami's experience encompasses various roles, including Chief Executive Officer at VART-LaB, where responsibilities involve research and the genetic improvement of crops across multiple West African countries. Additional contributions include serving as a Senior Expert for climate change adaptation at TechnoServe, assessing agroecology in the Sahel, and supporting initiatives at the World Food Programme. Oteyami holds a PhD in Genetic and Plant Breeding from the University of Ghana, alongside several advanced degrees related to environment and natural resource management.
