Caroline O'Brien

Caroline O'Brien is a data and AI leader with extensive experience in the field. They served in various high-level roles, including Chief Data Officer and SVP Data Science at Afiniti from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist at Commonwealth Bank from 2015 to 2016 and held an analyst position at Macquarie Group in 2008. Currently, Caroline is the GM of Data & Intelligence at Coles Group since 2025. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering and Arts from The University of Queensland and a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of New South Wales.
