Luxman Dua's work experience includes:

- Currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security (CISO) at Coliban Water since September 2021.

- Being a Member of the Board of Directors at Girton Grammar School starting in November 2022.

- Serving as a Founding Board Member and Inaugural Secretary at the Indian Association of Bendigo starting in February 2022.

- Previously worked at ADIA, where they held various roles including Head of Information Security Strategy & Execution, Head of Technology Risk & Security Solutions, and Program Manager - Mobility & Security Transformation. During their time at ADIA, they developed and implemented strategies and frameworks related to mobility, cloud security, risk management, business continuity, and third-party assessment.

- Worked at Westpac as the Manager of Information Security Strategy & Governance and Manager of Risk & Compliance. In these roles, they developed and managed security governance frameworks, advised on information security threats, led security remediation programs, and ensured compliance with information security policies.

- Served as an IT Security Officer at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where they built an information security organization, established security policies based on ISO 27001, and implemented perimeter defense architectures.

- Worked at Ernst & Young as a Senior IT Auditor, conducting audits and fraud investigations for multinational clients.

- Started their career as an Auditor at TRC.

Luxman Dua has a diverse education history. Luxman obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Delhi University in 1992. From 1991 to 1994, Luxman also became a Chartered Accountant by completing their FCA degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Luxman further pursued their studies in accounting, taxation, and law with the ACWA degree from 1991 to 1994. In 1995 and 1996, Luxman completed their education in information security, risk, and audit by obtaining a CISA degree. Continuing their interest in information security, Luxman obtained a CISSP degree in 2003. In 2004, they pursued Information Security Management from CISM. Luxman expanded their knowledge in IT governance with a CGEIT degree in 2008 and in project management with a Prince2 Registered Practitioner degree in the same year. In 2010, they completed their Lead Implementer: ISO/IEC 27001 education. Lastly, Luxman obtained a PMP (PMI) degree in project management in 2012.
