Mick Dunne has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mick currently works at Coliban Water, where they have held various managerial roles, including Operational Strategy & Excellence Lead, Manager Transition, Manager Catchment & Water Treatment Operations, Manager Community Operations, Manager Operational Strategy, Manager Infrastructure Delivery, and Program Manager - Infrastructure Delivery. In these positions, Mick has been responsible for overseeing the delivery of recurrent and capital upgrade works, promoting innovation, and supporting personal development. Prior to joining Coliban Water, Mick worked at Goulburn-Murray Water as the SCADA Integration Manager, where they managed a team and was involved in electrical and SCADA technical support, contract management, and project management. Mick also played a role in maintenance excellence and continuous improvement activities. Mick began their career as an Electrical Engineer at EPS Ireland.
Mick Dunne obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Munster Technological University from 1995 to 2000. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (expected completion in 2023), the National Engineering Register from Engineers Australia (obtained in 2020), and the Prosci Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci (obtained in 2017).
