Senior Software and Infrastructure Engineer at Collaborative Drug Discovery

Jacob Bloom has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jacob started their career as a Software Development Intern at Siemens in 2007. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at New College of Florida, conducting homework help sessions and problem sessions for physics and physical chemistry. Jacob then served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia from 2009 to 2010. At Texas A&M University, they worked as a Teaching Assistant from 2011 to 2013, where they taught general chemistry labs and helped design and implement a computational module for physical chemistry labs. In 2015, Jacob joined Chemical Semantics, Inc. as a Software Developer. Jacob later joined Collaborative Drug Discovery - CDD VAULT in 2016, initially as a Software Developer and currently as a Senior Software and Infrastructure Engineer.

Jacob Bloom earned their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Physics from New College of Florida from 2005 to 2009. Jacob then pursued a Master's Degree in Physical Chemistry at The University of Georgia from 2009 to 2010. Later, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry from Texas A&M University from 2011 to 2014.
