Will R.

Will R. has a strong background in data management and analysis in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Will began their career at Schrödinger in 2010, where they worked as a Data Specialist. In this role, they developed scripts and programs for ETL tasks, curated and prepared large datasets, and conducted research on new targets.

In 2018, Will joined Nimbus Therapeutics as a Data Specialist, where they focused on data clean-up and migration processes. Will wrote SQL statements and Python scripts for data correction, created reusable scripts for file parsing, and performed system testing to ensure successful data transfer.

After their time at Nimbus Therapeutics, Will moved on to Silicon Therapeutics in 2019, again as a Senior Associate in Data Management. Here, they continued to introduce scientists to data analysis tools, build data workflows and pipelines, and manage data capture and storage using Pythonic ETL processes.

Most recently, Will joined Roivant Sciences in 2021 as a Senior Associate in Data Management. In this role, they introduced scientists to data analysis and visualization tools, built workflows and pipelines to maintain data integrity, and managed data capture and storage.

Currently, Will is working as a Customer Engagement Scientist at Collaborative Drug Discovery - CDD VAULT, starting in September 2021.

Will R. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2021. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications related to programming and data science. In 2018, they completed certifications in Python Programming (Beginner), Data Analysis, Data Analysis with Pandas: Intermediate, Exploratory Data Visualization, Data Visualization, Storytelling Through Data Visualization, and Data Cleaning from Dataquest.io. In 2019, they obtained the certification in Python for Data Science: Fundamentals followed by Python for Data Science Intermediate in 2020. Will also completed the Programming Concepts with Python certification from Dataquest.io in 2020. Will'smost recent certification, obtained in 2023, is MED001x: Drug Discovery & Medicinal Chemistry from edX.
