Sarah Diefendorf serves as the Executive Director of the Environmental Finance Center West since September 1998, where a commitment to innovative leadership and community empowerment is emphasized. In addition to this role, Diefendorf is the Chair of the Board of Directors at Collaborative Enterprise Exchange, focusing on training women and youth to address inequity. Previous positions include Associate Director at the Center for Sustainability at Dominican University of California, President of the Board of Directors at Carbon Cycle Institute, and Advisor at Teach With Africa, which aims to enhance educational access in Africa. Diefendorf's earlier career also includes roles as a Senior Consultant at Well Network and as a Senior Researcher at Alameda Center for Environmental Technologies. Diefendorf is pursuing a PhD in Environmental Geography at the University of Cambridge.
