Cory McClellan

Cory McClellan has extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles.

In 2009, Cory started their career as a Munitions Maintenance Officer in the United States Air Force, where they managed a team of 118 and handled the maintenance, storage, accountability, transport, and lifecycle management of strategic assets worth $7.9 billion.

After leaving the Air Force in 2011, Cory joined American Express and took on roles such as Operations WFM Analyst, Site Voice of Member Strategy Lead, Strategy Assistant to the GM (Chief of Staff), and Sr Manager, BSA/AML Reporting. They were responsible for developing business intelligence tools, leading culture change projects, supporting the General Manager, and managing compliance reporting.

In 2017, Cory transitioned to the construction industry, working as a Finance Project Manager at Ralph L Wadsworth Construction Company. They oversaw cash flows, generated cost projections, and ensured profitability for a $140M construction project.

From 2018 to 2021, Cory worked at LendingClub, holding positions such as Sr Manager, Business Intelligence, Director, Workforce Management, and Director, Operations Planning & Strategy. They led the transition of operations to a new location, built workforce management teams, and oversaw forecasting and capacity planning.

In 2021, Cory joined Tradeshift as the Sr Director, Business Finance. They established a new team of Business Finance Partners and focused on meeting budgets, efficiency, and effectiveness while enabling the company's vision.

Currently, Cory is with Collective Health, where they hold the role of Chief of Staff and Sr Director, Client Operations, starting in 2022.

Cory McClellan earned a Master's Degree in International Affairs and Global Enterprise from the University of Utah in 2016. Prior to that, Cory also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the same university in 2009.
