Training & Field Building Lead at Collective Liberty

As the Training and Field Building Lead at Collective Liberty, Oscar Delgado helps build and maintain culturally competent, trauma-Informed anti-trafficking coalitions that connect local stakeholders across the nation. Also an Outreach Coordinator for the New England Coalition against Trafficking, Delgado is responsible for overseeing a program with six state leads, a survivor network, and anti-trafficking education programs. Before joining the Collective Liberty team, Delgado was the co-director of a National Anti-Trafficking Prevention Program in Mexico. He is also responsible for helping to create the award-winning multilingual AWAKE Anti-Trafficking Virtual Reality Program that was used in the Brazil Olympics and both Houston and Minneapolis Super Bowls. Furthering his personal and professional mission, Delgado ran a summer program for 50 survivors of labor trafficking and sexual exploitation, and has also worked in a Mexican aftercare program for teen survivors of labor and sex trafficking. Delgado also has experience as a consultant and adviser for anti-trafficking programs in Mexico, Colorado and Massachusetts. He speaks fluent Spanish.
