Heather Bottoms has worked in various roles since 2004. Heather began their career as a Supervisor of Mentoring Services at Volunteers of America in 2004. Heather then moved to Daybreak Family Services in 2009, where they worked as a Case Manager II. In 2016, they joined National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) as a Licensing Specialist. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Collective Medical a PointClickCare Company as a Clinical Solutions Lead and Support Analyst.
Heather Bottoms holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Northeastern State University and an Associate's degree in Psychology from Carl Albert State College. In addition, they have obtained a Certified Child Welfare Licensing Counselor certification from the State of Florida certification Board in February 2019 and a Case Management II certification from the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse in April 2014.
