Shamil Ismailov

Shamil Ismailov has worked in the recruitment and talent acquisition field since 2005. Shamil began their career as a Sourcer and Junior Recruiter for Arthur Hunt Russia. In 2006, they joined Brainpower - BPI Group as a Recruitment Unit Manager and Senior Recruitment Consultant. During their time there, they created and led a team in Saint-Petersburg and the team generated the highest EBITDA in the company since 2013. In 2020, they founded and became the Director of Upscale Search. In 2021, they joined MetaMap as a Global Technical Recruiter. In this role, they were responsible for end-to-end Talent Acquisition and IT Recruitment in the Software Engineering vertical. Shamil sourced candidates and built diverse talent pipelines using various methods. In 2022, they became the Head of Talent for Collectly, Inc.

Shamil Ismailov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics: English & French languages from Dagestan State University between 1997 and 2002. In July 2022, they obtained a certification in Programming Foundations: Fundamentals from LinkedIn.
