Colleen Jarosz

Colleen Jarosz is a highly experienced professional in the field of laboratory management and administration, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently, Colleen serves as a Technical Specialist at the College of American Pathologists since June 2019 and is happily retired. Prior to this role, Colleen held significant positions at Loyola University Medical Center from March 1986 to January 2019, including Laboratory Administrative Director, where responsibilities included managing a hospital laboratory that performed 2.7 million billed tests annually. Colleen also managed human resources and budget activities for multiple clinical laboratory units and implemented various innovative systems to improve operations in the blood bank. Earlier experience includes roles as a Reference Laboratory Technologist at Michael Reese Hospital and a Staff Technologist in Microbiology. Colleen earned an M.B.A. from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from Eastern Illinois University.
