Varsha Meghnani Ph.D.

Varsha Meghnani, PhD, MB(ASCP), TC(NRCC), currently serves as a CAP inspector at the College of American Pathologists since December 2020. In addition, Varsha has been a Laboratory Director and Molecular Geneticist at Lighthouse Lab Services since April 2017, providing expert consultation for laboratory start-ups and managing the development of workflows, test menus, and methods in various diagnostics fields. Previously, Varsha held the position of Lead Geneticist in the Molecular Diagnostics Department at Castle Medical from June 2014 to March 2017, overseeing department operations and nucleic acid extraction processes. Early career experiences include roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at North Dakota State University, a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, and a Research Trainee at GVK Biosciences. Varsha holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, a Master's in Pharmacology and Toxicology, and a Bachelor's in Pharmacy.
