Blake Ives

Blake Ives is a highly experienced academic and professional in the field of Management Information Systems. Currently serving as a C.T. Bauer Distinguished Professor (Emeritus) at C. T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston since May 2022, Blake has also held the position of Scholar in Residence at the College of Charleston since September 2021. In addition to these roles, Blake contributes extensively to the academic community through various editorial board memberships for several prestigious journals, including the Journal of Strategic Information Systems and the International Journal of Information Systems Management. With a PhD from UMN Carlson School of Management, alongside earlier degrees from the University at Albany and Junior College of Albany, Blake's scholarly impact spans decades of dedicated involvement in academia and professional organizations.
