Elizabeth Jurisich

Elizabeth Jurisich is a Mathematics professor at the College of Charleston, where Elizabeth has held various roles since August 1999, including Speaker of the Faculty and Mathematics Department Chair. With research interests in mathematical physics, representation theory, and specifically representations of Lie Algebras, conformal field theory, and vertex operator algebras, Elizabeth Jurisich teaches a range of courses such as Business Calculus, Calculus, Abstract Mathematics, Discrete Math, and Linear Algebra. Previous experience includes positions as a Visiting Associate Professor at UC Santa Cruz and as a consultant for the Institute for Defense Analyses. Elizabeth Jurisich earned a PhD in Mathematics from Rutgers University, an MS from New York University, and a BA from Wellesley College.
